iBrum is a free iPod/iPad app which allows you to explore Birmingham. It contains details of places of interest which can be searched by category. Each location has a map to help you to get there, a brief history, and other useful information such as opening times and entrance prices (if applicable).

It is designed to give both residents of Birmingham, who may not have fully sampled all the city has to offer (including students), and tourists visiting for a limited time inspiration for days out (be that cultural, historical, food or shopping orientated).
For more information about iBrum, please read this article by Redbrick, the student publication of the University of Birmingham.
iBrum was developed in the context of a university seminar on digital humanities. Content selection and data collection
was done by the students, development of the app itself by Phrasys.
